Overview

Our Boston Summer Center is located on the beautiful, 60-acre woodland campus of Pine Manor College, only 20-minutes from Downtown Boston. The city is world famous for its professional sports teams and world-class universities. A wealth of activities is available, either directly on campus or within the wider location, and excellent facilities include on-campus accommodation.

American University Taster Program

15 hours per week of English lessons and university-style lectures, discussions and tutorial sessions delivered by university lecturers, as well as visits to world-famous universities such as MIT and Harvard. One full-day and three half-day trips per week and a program of evening activities.

Accommodation

On-campus residence

On-campus residential accommodation in comfortable twin rooms with shared bathrooms (between 6 students) and common areas. Girls and boys are in separate accommodation areas or on different floors. The college is just a 1-minute walk away.

Meal plan

Full-board. Breakfast, hot lunch, and dinner are provided every day, with packed lunches or meal vouchers on excursion days. We can cater for vegetarian and other dietary requirements on request.

Typical excursions

Three half-day excursions and one full-day excursion per week.

Half-day excursions may include:

Full-day excursions include:

An overnight stay in New York can be added to the beginning or end of the program (subject to minimum numbers).
